Maggie and I will be making the road trip to Birmingham tomorrow for a 2:30 CT scan. This will be the first indication of clinical trial effectiveness. We are praying to see reduced or stable lung nodules and no new activity elsewhere. This drug combination has proven to have manageable short term side effects, so we hope to stay with it for as long as that lasts (and as long as it works, of course). We should hear the results of the scan Thursday when we report to the clinic for exam/infusion and will pass this along as soon as possible.

Maggie continues to feel really strong and healthy. She had a ureteroscopy last Friday to check for causes of kidney issues. No blockage or stricture in the ureter was found which means we will just watch for further symptoms or discomfort. We are forever thankful for wonderful/compassionate doctors and nurses working to take care of Maggie. We have the best! And we have the best friends and family to pray for us. Thank you for your unwavering support. We appreciate it!
