Maggie had her follow up with her surgeon today and was pronounced cleared to resume chemo week after next. We then met with her oncologist to discuss treatment options. We reviewed each one and brought the list home for additional research/consideration. We’ll have most of the week before we need to relay our decision back to the clinic in preparation to start Sept. 22nd.
Maggie’s ability to heal so quickly without complications continues to be a blessing. With the need to resume chemo at the earliest possible date, we are thankful we don’t have to worry about slowing her recovery progress. We are thankful, too, for supportive family and friends to hold us up in prayer. We’ll update in a few days as our plans going forward take shape. Have a restful weekend.
