Maggie did not get admitted for chemo this week by her own choice. She has been dealing with both tummy issues – upset, nausea – along with fatigue and fluid retention. She wanted more time to a) get stronger for the trip to Texas and b) spend at home with Natalie and other friends. After much discussion, we notified the CCC folks that she was skipping the last round before scans. The plan is to return from Texas and resume chemo at Batson barring any unforeseen options available at MDA. We thank you in advance for your prayers. Maggie needs to get stronger. We’re praying for a boost to her appetite along with her ability to tolerate well what she eats. We think this will solve the issue of low energy/weakness. I’ll update just prior to our departure next Tuesday unless the need arises before. Thank you for consistent support on this long – sometimes tough – journey. We appreciate you all!
