Maggie is continuing to recover from her wisdom teeth removal (all healing is a bit slower on her chemo drugs) and has been migraine free for over a week – pointing to the jaw as her main trigger. We’re thankful she has relief. Thank you for prayers for this issue.

And just like that, we’ve arrived at scan time – Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Maggie and I will drive over Wednesday and stay the night for results in her clinic visit Thursday. As long as spots are stable, we’ll stay for her infusion.

We also have a little more “press” business for Miss Hollywood. Last week the media team from UAB came to the house for an on camera interview – of both Maggie and me (I was not told about this until they arrived. I guess that’s one way to trap me). Maggie is a natural on camera. We found a few more details about the project. Since the Phase 1 clinical trial program is new for UAB, the director (Maggie’s doctor), Dr. Saleh, is wanting to get the word out about what they have to offer. The video will be posted through Facebook, Youtube, and other outlets. The media team is also planning a feature in the cancer center magazine. It seems our Maggie is the face of Phase 1 trials at UAB. The photographer wants to shoot a few photos of her at UAB, and we will meet them right after her scan. I’m honored to be her agent and number 1 fan.

As usual, I’ll update with results at the very earliest opportunity. And we’ll post links when the video is available in the next few weeks. We continue to covet your prayers.
