Maggie continues to heal and recover from her surgery. In fact, this past weekend we were in Disneyland, and Phil and I had to split duty to keep up with her! She closed the park down two nights. She was unable to ride any high speed or thrill rides but found plenty to do. This was our first trip to Disneyland, so she took note of differences between the two locations. I’m sure she’ll be glad to share if anyone wants to know. We had picture-perfect weather – ideal for running (for me), playing (Maggie), and relaxing (all three of us).

This week we’ll be in Jackson twice. Tomorrow we have an appointment with dermatology regarding an in-grown toe issue that started during the last few rounds of chemo. It was infected but has healed. We hope now the nail can be freed to eliminate discomfort. Friday, we’ll meet at 7:30 with her surgeon for surgery follow-up and release back to oncology. Then immediately after we meet with her oncologist to discuss the next phase of chemo. Please be in prayer for wisdom for us and doctors as we make decisions on treatment going forward.

Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless!
